ECG localization in the vertical plan of RVOT ectopies is based on the QRS morphology differences in precordial leads. A superior origin (left panel ECG) is characterised by r < S in V3, R > s in V4), a mid-origin is favoured by r = s in V4 (mid panel ECG) and inferior localisation characterised by r < S in V4 and R in V5 (right panel ECG)
